Aminreza Najafinia

I am a PhD student in Computer Science at Amirkabir University of Technology, supervised by Dr. Zahed Rahmati and Prof. Amir Goharshady. I am a member of the ALPACAS research group and of the AGML group at AUT.

My current research focuses on parameterized algorithms, SAT/SMT solving, computational geometry, and graph algorithms. Graph neural networks and applied machine learning remain part of my work.

My master's thesis used graph-based spatiotemporal modeling and explainable AI to study how hydro-climatic and environmental factors drive dust-storm activation. I also work as an AI engineer on machine-learning-based network security and natural-language access to enterprise data.
